Check out some feedback on our classes below!
Kristen at Helen O’Grady Drama Academy was brilliant! My year 11s were creating a self-devised production and the incursion really got them started. It was engaging, energetic, creative and very well organised! Throughout the booking process there was flexibility and the company were very accommodating, plus very reasonably priced! I’m very appreciative of the professionalism shown by Kristen and the students enjoyed themselves, winning a certificate for Innovative Plotline.
Caitlin Alford (Drama teacher, John Tonkin College)
Thank you for your fantastic school incursion program in Drama this term. The Year 1 children in my class have loved your classes. I often hear them say “I love Drama!” as we leave your class. The children have developed fine skills in the areas of voice projection, impromptu performance, confidence building and listening. I am impressed at your thorough organisation and your high energy level. I hope to work with you again sometime in the future.
Beth Chesney (Year 1 Teacher, Freshwater Bay PS)
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how thrilled the school has been with the first day of drama workshops with the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy. The staff, students and I have been glowing with praise and enthusiasm all day by your work and what the students have done. It has been simply brilliant. We look forward to the rest of the programme.
Rebecca Marr (Deputy Principal, Hillside Christian College)
Thanks again to the wonderful Janet and your Drama program. We love having her, and the kids wish she could stay all year! The skills they are learning are invaluable and taught in such a caring and fun way. Once again, thank you for your program and we look forward to doing it all again in 2019!!
Rebecca Nolan (Associate Principal, Two Rocks Primary School)
Thank you for the wonderful drama experience that you have brought to our school. Every single student from Pre-primary to Year 6 has been fully engaged throughout the program and it has given our teachers an opportunity to really observe their students for assessment of the drama curriculum. We have had nothing but positive feedback from staff, students and parents, and we cannot wait to get you back to our school next year.
Erica Salt (Deputy Principal, Scarborough Primary School)
Students at City Beach Primary School have participated in drama lessons with teachers from the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy over several years. Voice production and expression, body language and movement, as well as the development of self-confidence have been obvious benefits of the program.
The children have all loved the experience!
Sonya Cross (Deputy Principal, City Beach PS)
